'He's the sort of person who 200 years ago would have died aged 30 leading a cavalry charge into a volcano'
Frankie Boyle
'People always ask me the same question: "Is Boris a very, very clever man pretending to be an idiot?" And I always say, well, "No."'

Do Marxists approve of random? I'm sure they'd approve of Boris charging into a volcana.
Bloody good news! Praise the Lord! Thank God! There is hope for Londonistan. What will Red Ken do next?

Roobin - well, I'm not really in the mood at the moment to write up a Marxist analysis of Boris Johnson's politics. So while Jeremy Hardy's point could be described as Marxist, the others were not explicitly so, and so I thought random would do.
Uspace - whatever. The reality of course is that if phrases like 'Red Ken' had any basis in reality then Boris would not have won. Sadly far from being a communist Ken had become a machine politician linked to New Labour, and so he lost.
